I need a tvcard with video input, for video surveilance recording.
I bought a multiplexer which i would like to connect to the tvcard video input for that purpose.
My problem is that i don't know which one to buy, the perfect solution would be one totally compatible with linux drivers available and good capture quality...

anything with bt878 in the name will do you fine for a basic solution, their support is fine in linux with the bttv driver.
