Using buttons 4 and 5

Well, I read a couple of the threads on getting five button mice to work, and now my scroll works... when I do the xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 2 3 6 7 4 5" thing. Where do I make the machine do this at X startup? I can't find .xsession.

Also, how do I assign something to mouse 4 and 5? I want them to be forward back in the browser.

sorry if I'm not making sense... need.... sleep....

I take it that needs to exist for all users who wish to use X?

/home/username/.xsession

right?

I put it in the Autostart directory for the users that needed X. /home/username/.kde/Autostart

Now, we all use KDE, but is there a way to make that X wide?

What about mouse 4 and 5 for forward and back?
