USB printer stopped working

Hi guys and thanks for looking.

I've got Debian Wheezy installed and a USB printer that used to work that, after an update, now has suddenly stopped.

This is what's in /var/log/cups/error_log:

Code:
W [27/Jul/2014:08:20:18 -0700] failed to CreateProfile: org.freedesktop.ColorManager.AlreadyExists:profile id 'Brother_HL-5140_series-Gray..' already exists

E [27/Jul/2014:08:20:18 -0700] Failed to update TXT record for Brother_HL-5140_series @ debianserver: -2
I've Googled and saw a few bug reports but no solutions. Any ideas?

Just got an update of CUPS and associated programs. Didn't help.

And what about re-installing the printer driver of Brother? Does that help? Make sure you purged the existing driver.

And maybe then deleting the old printer and creating a new?
