Unhappy USB mouse stop working frequently

My usb mouse always suddenly stop working when system is busy. It really stop, not only under XFree86, but also under console.
When compiling large software, such as kernel, or copying lots of files. I try to move the usb mouse but the cursor moves slower and slower until stop moving (if I use the touchpad on my laptop instead of using this usb mouse at that time, the cursor moves well and the usb mouse won't stop working).
have to reload the mousedev modeule(by doing "modprobe -r mousedev" and then "modprobe mousedev") to "restart" it.

I use Debian sarge, so I have to configure it manually. To make this usb mosue work, I load hid, input, mousedev, and usb-ohci modulles. I don't know what's wrong with this configuration because there's no error message when it stops working.

Thanks!!
