Mouse stop working!! help

I've installed recently Vector Linux Dynamite on my laptop (acer travelmate 290), and it work great!
Very fast and friendly, but after an upgrade of my system (using vlapt),
my touchpad totaly stop working!
I've tried to reconfigure my mouse with VASM but nothing change...
I don't understand this because that does not come from my hardware, my touchpad work fine under windows....
Under linux X seems to work fine and gm is launched...
Can somebody help me?
