USB drives don't automount


When I stick the a USB THUMB drive in it doesn't get automounted but I must manually mount it.

/etc/fstab ?

Hi,

how does your /etc/fstab look like ? At least in Debian based distros this can be important for the "auto mount" of usb disks ...

for instance if /etc/fstab contains the line:

/dev/sdb1 /usb1 vfat rw,user,noauto 0 0

this will not auto mount.

in fstab theres no mention of USB whatsoever.
This is what fixed the problem:
