Has anybody made this (Pinnacle pctv stereo) card to work with Slackware 12. please help me settingup this card in my system i had tried every thing discussed this forum but could not make it work in my system.

Debian only. the kmuto cdrom as decribed above works. if you wanna compile kernel, here is hte information of it :

The saa chip should work out of the box on any recent kernel. I have Ubuntu jaunty with a 2.6.28 kernel and my tv card (ASUS) worked without any further intervention on my part. Well, not really, the sound is not working yet but I have found a couple of suggestions I still need to try out. Apparently, you need to prevent mythtv from managing sound itself.
