OK heres whats going on first of I'm a noob so please no making fun but i have a dual boot system with win2000 ( i know win-doze sucks its for my girlfriend) and fedora core 1 and i have a 3com etherlink XL 10/100 pci nic Ethernet card running to a Motorola surfboard cable modem when starting fedora for the first time i noticed on the screen shortly (where all the Green OK's come up) the line: "determining ip information for eth0 - failed" (in red) and i have been completely unable to access the net at all i tried going through network configuration and my device is there but its inactive and whenever i click on activate it just fails every time I'm at a complete loss here i just don't know if anyone could help that would rock
