eyner: your question really doesn't tell us anything.

Can you let us know the following:
your hardware, incl. the modem model
how are you trying to connect
what you have done, so far, to get it to work
what you mean by "it does not work"

Giving full details in a post helps us to help you.

Thank you and I am sorry I did not give full details.

I have Windows XP and Linux 9.0 both dual boot working GOOODD.
Internet is working just fine using Windows xp profesional but when I switch to red hat 9.0 and I try to go online does not work. In Red hat I when to Internet wizard cofiguration and I did it THE option xdsl and entered the information of my account and password and it says that it can't connect.
that's it
Thanks

in a terminal, use su to become root and type ifconfig - is your card detected? Was it detected during the RH install?

open a terminal.

type in su -c lspci and hit enter, at the prompt enter the root password and hit enter.

From the list which comes up, copy and paste the entry(s) for your ethernet card into a new post.
