Angry Tilp 2 fails to interface with TI84+

After downloading and making all of tilps' dependencies, I got tilp-2 installed and runable. I am on Fedora core 5 x64, with Texas Instruments Ti 84+. After specifing device settings, at runtime I get this

ticables-INFO: Check for lib-usb usability:
ticables-INFO: usb filesystem (/proc/bus/usb): mounted
ticables-INFO: node /proc/bus/usb/devices: exists
ticables-INFO: permissions/user/group: -r--r--r-- root root
ticables-INFO: is user can r/w on device: yes
ticables-INFO: found <TI84 Plus>.

However, In the gui I can not do anything.
and end up with a popup of this error

Msg: error occured while writing to the device.
System: No such device (errno = 19)

I also get these errors ont the command

(tilp-2:3172): ticables-WARNING **:
weird, usb_bulk_read returns without any data & error; retrying...

(tilp-2:3172): ticables-WARNING **: usb_bulk_write (error submitting URB: No such device).

Any, Ideas? Is it possibly a commbadibilty problem?

also, when I scan for devices It aborts with this,

35f7721000-35f7820000 ---p 00021000 03:01 19707313 /lib64/libexpat.so.0.5.0
