TapeDrive

Fedora release 7 (Moonshine)
2.6.23.12-52.fc7

I'm trying to install and get working a scsi tapedrive.

I think its installed, as this is what its telling me is on the scsi drive
Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: HP Model: Ultrium 2-SCSI Rev: F5CD
Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 03

But when I issue "mt -f /dev/st0 status" i get nothing back.

Any ideas?

Is that with a tape in the drive, or with the drive empty?
