Sound Blaster Audigy
Is the Sound Blaster Audigy 1 sound card compatible w/linux? Are there any known problems?

i wanted to make sure about the audigy 1 or audigy 2, so people wouldn't get them mixed up....them config that i said in my first post states just audigy, them i went back to say audigy 1 specifically, next time i will just updated my thread and post a reply to it to be more specific

Both are supported: download from the manufacturer website (Creative/SoundBlaster).

aherm, where are you getting Creative Drivers? What card do you got? They are saying they got nithing for my Audigy.

The Audigy 1 uses the emu10k1 chipset&drivers and works just fine here with Gentoo Linux
