I tried to make it work. i tried to see it with digikam, and i can see whats in the camera, but i cant download it to the computer. For it, i used the camera in USB PTP mode, and digikam detect it as a sony dsc-F707V. I tried also to mount it as a partition, and i tried to configure in digikam as a USB PTP Class camera (digikam option) nothing work to download the pictures. I read in internet that the model is the same as a dsc-p100 but nobody commented nothing about this cameras, i think are too new.

camaleon; have you tried the hardware section of mdk for what has been functionally,tested,or used by usr's and nonproven hdwr. if you would include you perpheral for seasoned users to find drivers,buggs,etc . you may then get better input. try it improvements is what works with linux.
