siig nn2633 1394 card work?

Hi all.... just got a dv camera and grabed the siig nn2633 firewire card from best buy.... anyone know for sure if it works or not? I didn't see it listed in any of the 1394 support lists.

anyway, if anyone has a good link to some docs on how to use the dv cam in linux, i'd appreciate it. I'm trying to use dvgrab, but i'm not sure if the cards not working right, or i'm doing something else wrong....
