Try to modify your xorg.conf,
change your mouse protocol to "Microsoft"

then, restart it.

not works

i read on linspire wensite that i should type in consol xconfig and reply the questions, i answerered, but the OS couldn`t write the config file.

"While support for older serial mice is not automatic in Linspire , like USB or PS/2 mouse support is, you can configure a serial mouse to work in Linspire by performing the following:
1. Press CTRL + ESC for the pop-up menu.
2. Press the Up Arrow key to move to Programs.
3. Press the Left Arrow key to move to Utilities.
4. Under Utilities, Select Console.

5. At the '#' prompt, type "pestcontrol". Note the device line. (For example: "device=/dev/ttts0")
6. At the "#" prompt, type "xf86config" for Linspire 4.5 or "xorgconfig" for Linspire Five-0.
7. Respond to the questions based on the type of mouse you're using.
8. Once you are prompted with the mouse device, key in the specific device noted in the device line of step 5 above."
not works
