Question SB 4200

I have the same problem and am running Redhat 8.0. I installed RH 8.0 with my modem connected. Searches on the web have ndicated that CDCEther plays a role in using the modem with RH 8 but how i do not know. Would appreciate it if someone can help out on this one.
