[SOLVED] Sandisk mp3 player no longer pops up on screen

Ubuntu 20.04 lts

My Sandisk mp3 player, when connected via usb to the computer, no longer pops up as a HD on my screen.

Any suggestions? It use to just show up in the dock, like a usb thumb drive would when connected (?)

Problem solved. Found a different connection cord and it works.

Problem solved. Found a different connection cord and it works.

Hard to know why any sort of troubleshooting/diagnostics weren't done before posting; read the "Question Guidelines" link (as you've been asked to several times before).
