I have never worked with that specific equipment before, but here are some things to consider:
1) Is it a modem or a router or both?
modem: you are going to need to setup pppoe on your linux box.
router: If it is only a router you are going to need to get a dsl modem to go between the dsl line and the router. Then just plug your ethernet card into the router, setup your network, and away you go.
modem/router: same as router except you won't need a modem
Because the router won't actually be part of the Linux system, as long as your network is set up properly you should not have problems.
