Unhappy ADSL Routers Setup- Microsom Deskporte router 100 and Planet ADSL modem router

I have 2 routers I can't get connection with pppoe. I use Redhat 9 and I have a Siemens router that works 100%. I try to get the microsom and thplanet routers working on the same configuration as the siemens but the just time-out on connection. I'm sure it's some setting on the routers itself but I can't find any information on the routers anywhere. Please contact me if you have any ideas on what I can try to get them connecting.
