Roku Player to PC?

Hi. I was thinking about buying one of the $99 Roku players so I could actually watch my Netflix instant videos. Since I happen to be making student wages, I wanted to make sure the setup will work the way I would like before shelling out a hundred dollars...

My Question: Can I plug the Roku into my Linux box and watch the video on that? My graphics card is powerful enough, but it only seems to have a s-video port (aside from the DVI ports). I thought I saw an s-video port on the Roku images I saw online, but I wasn't sure. Also, I'm not sure what software I should use to receive the video input.

My Linux box is running Debian Lenny (amd64). I have a 1 MB/s connection so bandwidth shouldn't be a problem.
