Unhappy Redhat can not detect modem

Donno why, previously it can detect and install connection easily, but this time can not!
I turn on modem during boot up, but still can not detect modem ( I boot up with floppy disk)
What must I do ?

You must start by explaining what kind of modem you're using, what has changed from 'previously' (to what??), and how/why you made your boot floppy.

No problem now, just that the device i selected is wrong.

I use kppp to setup, pretty easy.
