Recomend a skype device

Hello.

I've nearly gotten my Slackware 11 setup completely and I'm wanting to go with Skype.

i'm in need of some suggestions, (links are very welcome), as to what might work well with Slack 11, 2.6.17.13 kernel.

I'm not a fan of wireless, so not looking for that route. Thinking something like a hands-free would be alright, but I'd prefer something with a number pad, (one that looks like a regular phone), but I'll take advice and suggestions on what would be best. I have a T2-speed connection and only one ethernet, (my mobo layout would make adding an additional PCI card impossible), but plenty of USB ports.

Oh, and I'll be getting the Skype-in as well as Skype-out, so I will be receiving calls, too.

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to be wired, you're going to be at the computer and thus a keypad is pretty useless; you can just as well use the keyboard's numpad for that matter. I'd pick up a cheap headset with a microphone, hit it into the audio jacks when using and live happily ever after; no sense in wasting 200$ to get a 5.1 system for Skype

Ok...any manufactures that I should avoid all together? Like known crappy or incompatible ones?

I often have music or other noise going on when I'm at my desk, so something that pics up ambient sounds would be bad I think.....
