Ubuntu Edgy: Skype + Mp3 = Problem with audio device

Hi.
Im having problems with listening to mp3s while talking on skype, skype wont work if mp3s are playing, and mp3 wont play if skype is connected - what could this be?
My mixer is loaded, im on Gnome.

##Update:
So, got it working by using OSS as "Audio Conferencing" Playback and Capture and ALSA as Music and Movies - the only problem is that OSS also sendes the ALSA output - so ppl on skype hears my music :/

Anyone?

The problem is probably the sound device getting locked by some app. There should be software, I believe, that let you use two (or more?) programs to produce sound at the same time, I just don't remember their names. But why on earth would you like to listen to mp3 while calling with Skype? I mean, doesn't the music disturb you?

Or your friend (on a regular phone the other end could possibly hear the music too, depending on the volume)

I'm not sure, but I think it's due to Skype using OSS while your music player uses ALSA. Using OSS and ALSA at the same time isn't possible, as much as I know.
