ok hears my problem i got a msi kt3 ultra mobo with onb realtec ac97 sound and i cant get the thing to work i have done every thing i can think of my buddy jeff who got me out of winblows hell couldent do anything maby one ove you can help me this is driving me nuts
Try selecting the C-Media in the section sound in the kernel, u can maybe start with installing it as a module and then install it after the kernel compile.

realtec ac97 onboard sound
