RAID card

Has anoyone been able to get the innovision EIO DM-8401 RAID controller card working with linux? I installed the card, configured the RAID array, then booted, I expected kudzu topick it up, but nothing happened?!?! Why could this have happened?
Any help is most appreciated (this is for a fileserver, if I can't get it working i'm going to have to use windoze 2k server ) Cheers guys

Is it supported by a vanilla RedHat/Fedora installation? My searches didn't make me any wiser either, so do you know what chipset the card uses?

I have one of theese cards in front of me, the DM-8401 has a ITE chip on board which is an ITE 8212F, I have tried this in on Redhat 9 and Fedora core1, and it does work, you have to get the aitraid drivers from the innovex site : http://www.ivmm.com/download.html, or what i found better, the gigabyte site : http://www.giga-byte.com/motherboard...driver_ite.htm , which seems to support more versions than the manafacturers ???

Hope this helps..
