Question Radeon 9700 Driver help

I just recently installed the ATI official driver for the radeon 9700. I have XFree86 4.1.0 and installed fglrx-glc22-4.1.0-2.5.1.i586.rpm and i came up with unrecongnized symbols in fglrx.o and insmod failed. startx works but 3d acceleration is very slow. I'm testing it on chronium and tux racer. I'm not sure with distro of redhat i have but no matter what i do it wont insmod it. Any suggestions??

It didn't load the fglrx module so you haven't got accelerated video... it might just be a kernel module symboling issue, RH compiles in some annoyance, you might want to try and ram the module home with:

insmod -f fglrx.o

Cheers,
