I did all this, but it doesn't start the x-server anymore. any ideas?
I tried both the fglrx-glc22.4.2.0-2.9.13.rpm and the fglrx-glc22.4.3.0-2.9.13.rpm package - same result.
seems to me that there is a screen problem, but I even copied the settings from the original file to the Xconfig-4 file with no effect.
by the way: I'm trying to enable an ATI 9800 card
