hey everyone... I'm interested in buying a card that will add two more IDE ports to my computer via an IDE slot.... however i'm running Linux... and I don't know how good the driver support for this will be....
has anyone ever bought one of these? any ideas? thanks.

I have bought two. The first was a Maxtor card using a Promise chipset. Eventually I threw it away. In October, 2003 I replaced the Maxtor card with a HighPoint card and it has worked perfectly ever since.
