Please note that this adapter only works with USB keyboards that are wired for use in a PS/2 keyboard port. If your USB keyboard did not include a cable converter, this adapter will not work with it.

I think there are some specific hardware limitations with these converters.. but you shouldn't need drivers of any sort..
Odd that it works with Windows and not Linux.. If it works with one, then it should work for either OS..
