Problem with Undefined Monitors and ATI

Hi. I have installed Suse 9.0 over a computer that has the following configuration, ATI Radeon VE, AMD Athlon XP 2200, and I use one monitor not defined by defect, I configure this monitor as standard 1280 x 1024@60Hz - I tried others configurations too -, the result is everytime the same, the first time I started XWindow the screen apperars like if I was defined one virtual screen higher than the real screen and I didnt it, but if I re-starts XWindow closing one user sesion by example, the correct screen appears.

I tried configure the monitor writing a register with your characteristics on the files /usr/X11R6/lib/sax/api/data/cdb/Monitors and usr/X11R6/lib/sax/api/data/cdb/Monitors.orig I'm sure these registers are ok. Then I configured X using yast2 and the proper characteristics of the monitor but the problems continue. The only extrange thing I saw are two lines on the /var/log/XFree86.0.log

(WW) Radeon(0):Monitor[0]:Using default hsync range of 28.00-33.00 Khz
(WW) Radeon(0):Monitor[0]:Using default vrefresh range of 43:00-72.00 Hz

I don't know why ATI Radeon use a default configuration when I defined correctly the proper configuration, also hsinc range is not the correct range 30-50 khz, I think this must cause the problem but I don't know how can I solve it.

Excuses if my english is no so good as I like. Any help will be grateful, thanks from Spain.
