Unhappy printing skip

My new printer skips the first four lines of a page. That is, it does not print the first four lines. I just installed it. HP officejetpro 6968. I use mint.

Do you have printer settings dialog that shows up when you go to print or a separate app for printer settings? Perhaps the borders are set too high and need to be relaxed to a lesser size.

I just checked the print menu. I can't find it. I went to printer settings. I changed from pdf to postcript. That made no difference. I haven't found the right dialog.

There does seem to be some fixes in this forum, specifically towards the last few posts.
