Philips LCD Monitor 170B4 picture size

I am using a kvm switch to operate two SUSE 10 boxes and a WINXP box. I have a problems with the two SUSE boxes in that if I get the screen centered correctly on one it is off centre on the other suse box. I have tried using Yast to configure the screen with limited success but have run into a problem where the power switch on the monitor has a led that is pulsing about two times per second. I am sure its something to do with the changes I have made with YAST but I cannot seem to find out just what is wrong. Has anyone else any knowledge of the Philips 170B4 monitor and what is causing the power swittch light to flash like this?
