PCcard installation help

I have a Lucent Technologies WaveLAN Turbo 11Mb Gold,
Does anyone know what drivers I should be using for it?

I was doing some reading, and I thought the orinoco stuff would work for it, but when I put the card in, it does not power up.

BTW I am using Gentoo, and I did configure the kernel for PCMCIA and I selected all options for it (but not as modules) and the same for wireless networking.

I think my PCMCIA bus is not getting detected, when I put the card in it does not power up.
I am using a IBM T23

Any help is good.

From what I can figure out this is a ORiNOCO card, I have emerged the the ORiNOCO package, but the card is still not powering up,

Do I need to install something for my card bus?
