Is OpenGL working? Run glxinfo and glxgears. OpenGL is faster if it works

The VGA is integrated, right? If it is see if your bios offers more memory for the video mode. Just a thought.

opengl works (it gets 150 fps :S too slow) and when i try unreal tournament in opengl mode its 2 frames per minute :S but with software rendering it goes faster (still 1 fps or so but faster than opengl)
i allocated the maximum memory to it (64 mb) and have 320 mb ram left (enough i should think) and i even got the drivers installed following these instructions
http://www.winischhofer.net/sisdri.shtml
(without the drivers glxgears gives 50 fps :S)

ps: additional question i've got a 3dfx voodoo2 pci card lying here with a cable for extending my videocard how do i make it work? i installed glide (is that just for voodoo cards or for opengl in general?)but the drivers wont compile (i only found the src)
EDIT:
additional info : i inserted my 3dfx card now and here's the new lspci:

00:00.0 Host bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 730 Host (rev 02)
00:00.1 IDE interface: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 5513 [IDE] (rev d0)

and here is the output of glxinfo:
