No /dev/video0 for hauppage pvr-250

I just installed mandrake 10.0 official with the 2.6.3-7mdk kernel. I am trying to get my hauppage pvr-250 card to work with it. When I modprobe the ivtv and bttv drivers, they load fine no /dev/video* or /dev/v4l/* devices are created.

I put the following in my /etc/modules file:
Code:
videodev
ivtv
lirc_i2c
ivtv
tuner
msp3400
and I put the following in my /etc/modules.conf file:

Code:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
options ivtv debug=1
options tuner type=2
options msp3400 once=1 simple=1
add below ivtv msp3400 saa7115 tuner
add above ivtv lirc_dev lirc_i2c
I rebooted to see if these changes would make the video devices appear, but the modules didn't even get loaded. What am I doing wrong? What else do I need to do to make the video devices appear?
