dagodave,

Your HP LaserJet Pro M14-17 printer is supported in Linux via hplip:
https://www.download.co.id/2018/01/d...es-driver.html

You appear to have clicked on Open instead of Save for the hplip-3.19.8.run file from Sourceforge.

Try again and this time click on Save (see attached screenshot).

You then need to open a Terminal and enter various commands.

Is the hplip file in your Downloads folder or on your Desktop?

Open a Terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T).

I am assuming that the hplip file is in your Downloads (change the following command to Desktop if necessary).

Code:
cd Downloads
(press Enter)

Code:
sh hplip-3.19.8.run
(press Enter)

Then select a for automatic and follow the walkthrough instructions referred to in post #2.
