New Monitor? Need to change Resolution Options

I just installed fedora a couple of days ago. When I installed I was using a 15 inch HP monitor and Just replaced it with a Hitachi 21 inch. When I go into screen resolution it gives me the highest res. of 1024x768, which was the highest res. of the old monitor. I would like to know set it to be able to go up to 1600x1200 which is the highest res. for the new monitor. Do I need to use the boot up disk and change the monitor setup or is there a way I can do it without do that? Thanks for helping a newb.
