My printer does not work after I print a document

I have just installed Linux JAMD to my computer and configured everything. I installed my Lexmark Z22 printer but everytime I print the light starts flashing and I have to reset my printer so I can print the next document. Can anybody help me?

This seems to be a known problem. Check the excellent linuxprinting.org website and in particular the page on the Z22

http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_pr...um=Lexmark-Z22

for further suggestions. Don't have this printer myself, but the site is always a good first stop for printing problems.

Question libslang.so.1 required

I downloaded the Lexmark Z32 driver and ran the RPM but I get an error message that says libslang.so.1 required. I downloaded the file but do not know how to install it. Can anyone help?

I'm not familiar with Redhat package management but I guess you need another RPM that provides the libslang library. Otherwise the package installer will continue to complain that the library is missing. Just putting in any old version of libslang is not a good idea, as it may not be compatible with your existing system.
