My Panda PAU05 Wireless Adapter Isn't working too great on linux

I have a panda pau05 wireless adapter which i bought while I was still on windows 10. While on windows, it worked just fine. Web pages loaded quick, videos played, and I could play a few online games. Now though, on linux, it's not working nearly as well. Web pages low slower and if I try to use multiple tabs and load multiple at once they load REALLY slow. If I try to go on youtube, the video almost never loads, and trying to play online games is unbearable.

Does anyone know why the wireless adapter doesnt work nearly as good on linux and/or how to fix it?

noobertt,

Welcome to LQ.

I suggest that you contact Panda support and ask for why your PAU05 is running so slowly. It is advertised as being Linux compatible.

Email:

Extract from Amazon.com customer feedback:

Quote:
The Panda USB Adapter arrived quickly, but it wouldn't set up. Apparently plug-and-play in Linux is a little harder than it is Windows. But customer service was excellent, and the dongle is now the strongest signal in the house.
