Hi, I am a fairly new user and need some advice on a problem i have not been successful in resurrecting. I have a dual boot system with Ubuntu 20.10 Groovy Gorilla and windows. I use the Ubuntu "instance" as a media server for music and movie files. Those files are stored on a shared fat32 partition. I need to have this partition (hard disk) mounted on boot so the files are readily available for the media server immediately. How do I mount this Partition (disk) on boot?

You need to make a line for it in /etc/fstab, and the system will mount it when it's mounting the other non root drives. As root is mounting it, users will only have read access.

If you configure the fstab file properly, you can allow user access.
