motherboard chipset


i have been looking at getting a new motherboard for a while now, my cpu is an amd athlon 2400+. i have looked at a few boards and the better ones all seem to have the nforce 2 chipset.
i know nvidia supply drivers but has anyone had any problems or know how well the chipset interacts with linux.

any chiupset suggestions would be appreciated, not just nvidia

Check the HCL (Hardware Compatibility List) section of this site. I wrote a review on the NF7-S revision 2 there.
