Exclamation Most weird keyboard/mouse problem ever!

My mouse has been freezing alot lately. Have been searching forums/google alot but cant find anyone that seems to have the same problem. Whenever it happens I have checkd dmesg and this is usually the error message there
Quote:
Inbound IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=00:11:09:d7:19:1d:00:14:85:bd:3a:38:08:00 SRC=66.23.210.242 DST=192.168.1.1 LEN=330 TOS=0x1C PREC=0x20 TTL=45 ID=37107 PROTO=ICMP TYPE=3 CODE=1 [SRC=192.168.1.1 DST=66.23.210.242 LEN=302 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=46 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=53167 DPT=56912 LEN=282 ]
I have to unplugg the usb receiver and plug it back in to get the mouse working again, and now the keyboard has even started freezing. Switching to tty with ctrl+alt+Fx doesnt help neither does restarting X.

When the usb receiver is pluggd back in this is what I get from dmesg

Quote:
usb 2-3: USB disconnect, address 8
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: IRQ INTR_SF lossage <-- problem here???
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup
usb 2-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 9
usb 2-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
input: Logitech USB Receiver as /class/input/input14
input: USB HID v1.11 Keyboard [Logitech USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:02.0-3
input: Logitech USB Receiver as /class/input/input15
input: USB HID v1.11 Mouse [Logitech USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:02.0-3
Now it happened again..output from dmesg

Quote:

I had almost the same problem with archlinux, kernel 2.6.17-beyond, kde 3.5.4. By almost I mean that my mouse didn't freeze totaly, just being somewhat unresponsive. And at the time I didn't had any firewall rules enabled (everything was permitted). My set is Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 and Wireless Optical Mouse.

The only solution I found was to move the receiver from the USB port to PS2 ports. I am not sure if that works well with Logitech sets but you can give it a try.

Maybe it has something to do with nForce chipsets and some kind of crapy support for USB 1.1. Who knows. My motherboard is based on nForce 570.

Yea I tried...but theres some problem with the ps2 port if I use it the computer wont boot, gets stuck before the bios even loads.. have checked the msi user forums seems everyone with this mobo has that fault...
