Question Monitor

G'Day All,

Got a new monitor, A Panasonic PanaFlat PF90. No matter what I try, I cant get the full screen size that this monitor can offer.
I have tried (using GNOME mandrake 8.2) to change monitor type to a monitor that can do better than 1024x800..Any one able to give me some advice..

Thanks all heaps.

Under Section "Monitor", have you tried changing the HorizSync and VertRefresh entries in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 with that of your new monitor. ie:

HorizSync 30-70
VertRefresh 50-180

Of course these are fo my monitor, but somewhere in the specs for your new monitor, yours should be given. -mk
