I have a Microstar DAP 5400a 627 card that I need to install. I downloaded the Accel32 Server for Linux, Version 1.04 from their webpage. In the readme file says:
"Make sure that your system has the gcc compiler and system kernel build systems installed and working. Most distributions have this by default, or as a package install option."
What does that mean? does that mean that I need the headers? I already have the gcc compiler, and I'm working with debian squeeze.
Hi!
Does anyone have some experience with this card?
I have it on a pc with debian squeeze, 2.6.32. The gcc version is 4.4.5.
I installed the headers and the Accel32 server. I also copied the file DW-627A.ST2 to the dapl directory. When I run the script "./accel32 load" I get the following message:
./accel32: 20: function: not found.
Any advice is very welcome.
Thanks
Joc
Update:
If instead of just typing ./accel32, I type "bash ./accel32", I get this message: " Error: could not open DAPL code file ./dapl/dw-626a.sts " (note that it refers to 626, instead of 627, and also it is written in lowercase).
Any advice?
Thanks in advance
Joc
