Memory test on Gnu Linux system

Hi All,

I have a little problem, and I was wondering if someone can help me.

I'm looking for a memory test suite that can perform test like:
1. Walking ones.
2. Bit fade.
3. Modulo X.
4. ECC test.

If you are familiar with such test software/s that can run on MIPS platform please help me out.

Thank you.

Hi,

Memtest86 will do the job.
If you have 'Knoppix' the memtest86 is available at boot with F2 showing the option.

This link and others are available from 'Slackware-Links' .

Edit: Sorry, I read over the MIPS portion. I'm not sure if KNOPPIX is available for MIPS.

`memtester` is implemented in ANSI C, if I'm not totally mistaken. Also check out the `mlucas` program suite.

Hi Guys,

Thanks a lot for all the answers.
I've decided to check out "memtester" on my MIPS machine.

Regards,
