MDK10 on RAID0

I've been searching the forum but have been unable to find an exact answer on this... I have mandrake 10 community edition on DVD and was wondering if I would be able to install this on 2xSATA drives on a 3112A onboard SATA controller (on raid0). I have tried this before with other distros but have never been able to get this working, instead, when installing it would show the two hdds as seperate and not in a single, striped array. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks
