Making a driver disk from source files

I am putting together a Debian machine that will use a promise sata150 tx2 plus controller. I get to a part in the install that requires a driver disk and the only ones i can find are on the Promise site and are for redhat and suse. They have the driver source code there as well and i was wondering if there is any way to make a driver disk with these.
