LNE100tx ver 5.1 help

Im having problems with my nic card. If i try to activate it, It tells me that the device appears not to be present. I was thinking mabey the wrong driver. I went to linsys website and they dont have a driver for redhat 9. It only went to 7.1. I look for a linux driver website and come up with nothing. I am completely lost here. Can someone help me.

if you could post the output of "lspci", "lsmod" and "ifconfig", it would help greatly. What's ythe chipset of this card (typing "lspci should give you some clue about it)?

I had the same problem. The fix turned out to be enabling bus mastering for the slot the card was in, deleting all the entries for the card and the interface, then rebooting. The card was then detected, and I was able to configure my network settings. (RH 9 kernel 2.4.20-8, Linksys LNE100TXv5.1)
