I have just installed Mandriva 2005 L.E. on a machine that is already running windows. The disks are as follows:
Internal scsi drive intel raid controller sda - windows
Internal scsi drive intel raid controller sdb - linux
Internal IDE drive - data
The two scsi raid arrays work fine. Konquerer recognises the windows file system and I can read the disk.
Konquerer can see the IDE drive and its size but can't identify the file system (windows NTFS) or any files. The drive is an IBM DPTA-372050. The IDE controller is an onboard VIA Apolloa chipset which is apparently 100% compatible with linux kernel dirvers. Very annoying as all my multimedia files are on that drive. Oh, and the disk is working fine under windows.
