Unhappy Lexmark X75 printer driver

Hi everybody

My father has on his computer a all-in-one Lexmark X75 printer, and Linux Mandrake 9.2. And I don't find any way to use that printer on linux !
I tried a day all the drivers. Conclusion : a printer (the scanner fonction) destroyed !!
So I didn't try anything else...
But yet he is very fed up with that (and me too)
Can somebody help me !
I'm ready to switch him to cooker if it allow him to print. (there is a driver for X125, it's perhaps good but I won't try because I don't want to burn another printer)
He only wants to print, the scanner is optionnal...

Thanks in advance

Welcome to LQ Pinaraf. An excellent resource for information about printing is LinuxPrinting. It contains an extensive listing of supported printers, as well as useful tutorials. Good luck with the project -- J.W.
